February is Witness Month, where we hold up the ministries of the Witness Team. This seems the appropriate time to ask YOU if God has awakened in you a desire to serve by being part of any of these ministries. Your ideas, your assistance, could be just what God intends. Interested?

Prayer
Do you have a prayer request? Fill out a card in the pews and place it in the offering plates, or call the church office.
Every Wednesday morning at 9:30 a.m. a group of diligent pray-ers assemble in the vestry to pray. We begin with fellowship and prayer requests, including those who are hospitalized, and need special care, as well as our world, our church and ourselves. To join us, just show up. Questions??? New Member Welcome Classes
Are you new to Mount Hope? Interested in joining our congregation? We offer a new member class for those looking to join us. Classes are held Sunday evenings in the Fall and in the Spring.
The evening classes start at 6:30 p.m. Invited to this series are all those who would like a basic summary of Christian faith as we explore the following themes:
- Who is God?
- Who is Jesus?
- What is the Bible?
- What is the church?
- Can I have hope?
- What is a Christian?

Welcoming Visitors
– Members call those who visit Mt. Hope, and new home owners receive invitations to worship that are mailed to their homes.

Prayer Chain
Part of our prayer ministry at Mount Hope includes our prayer chain. Prayer requests come into our church office via phone and prayer cards found in our pews. They are then given to the designated captain of our prayer chain, who calls then next person on the chain. If you would like to submit a prayer request, you may fill out a prayer card in the pew, or call Donna in the church officemounthope.elca@sbcglobal.net, or call 414-541-9500.

Teddy Bear Ministry
Do you know someone who needs a hug? A lift? Or to feel the presence of God's love? Feel free to take a bear from the pews and submit the card at the bottom into the offering plate. We pray that this small measure of concern will bring comfort in a time of need, and know that we care
